Biography

Matthew Schuler is best known as a top 6 finalist from season 5 of NBC’s Emmy award-winning competition reality series The Voice. During Schuler’s blind audition he broke the record for the fastest 4-chair turn in The Voice history, which led him to join team Christina Aguilera. His time on The Voice was hailed by performances of alternative pop hits from Young the Giant, Florence and the Machine, Fall out Boy, and most notably his rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ which hit #40 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and #38 in the Canadian Hot 100. Since the Voice Matthew has toured all over the United States and in countries like Germany, South Africa, and Jamaica. He’s acted in 2 feature films “Because of Gracia” (2017) and “I’m not Ashamed” (2016). He has released two EPs the “Baby Steps" EP (2018) and the “We Rule the Night" EP (2021). His debut album “We Get There” dedicated to his late Father is set to release in 2023.
